NFL Week 4 Highlights and Injuries
As we approach the fifth week of the NFL season, it’s worth reflecting on the standout moments from Week 4. One player shone brightly, managing to rack up 170 yards and a touchdown on 15 targets. His chemistry with Stafford is undeniable, and it feels like they’re just getting started. With CeeDee Lamb sidelined, George Pickens made a jump to WR2, and Romeo put up three touchdowns in the same game, making a case for WR3.
On a different note, the Chargers have some intriguing developments, particularly with Quentin Johnston. His 13 targets helped him secure a strong position against the Giants, ending the week as WR6 with eight receptions for 98 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Ladd McConkey has been stepping up as WR3, but Keenan Allen continues to dominate with his share of slot targets. It’s a bit crowded, and I’m not entirely convinced there’s enough to support three fantasy receivers consistently.
We also saw players like Roma Odunze, DJ Moore, Luther Baden III, Drake London, and Darnell Mooney among others make impacts during the games last week.
Injuries have been a prominent concern this week. Hill faced a severe knee injury that could put him out for a lengthy period. As for Waddle and De’Von Achane, they might benefit from this unfortunate situation. On a positive note, Darren Waller could bring some value if he remains fit—he caught two touchdowns in his season debut, but it’s hard to say if that’s sustainable.
Now, there were two significant injuries that could shake things up for fantasy teams. One player, with a torn ACL, will likely see Onedale Robinson take on extra duties, which should enhance his fantasy appeal. After the unfortunate incident, Robinson started participating more in both two and three-receiver sets, and that’s precisely what you want from a fantasy pick.
Pearsore injured his knee during Week 4 against the Jaguars. Fortunately, it doesn’t seem serious, and he might play again soon, though the quick turnaround for Thursday night could be challenging. Jauan Jennings also picked up a rib injury, adding to his list of physical setbacks this season. He has played through injuries before, but if Pearsall is out, Jennings could be an essential start, provided he suits up.
In another injury update, Lamb twisted his ankle during Week 3 and may be sidelined for about 3-4 weeks. The team is optimistic he could return a bit sooner, which would be a relief. Meanwhile, George Pickens stepped up tremendously last week during Lamb’s absence and is expected to continue performing at a high level.
Terry McLaurin, Commander
McLaurin dealt with a quad injury against the Raiders in Week 3. Divo Samuel’s presence will be crucial while McLaurin remains out, although we don’t have a clear timeline for his return yet, thankfully, he’s yet to be placed on IR.
Evans dealt with a hamstring strain in Week 3, which could keep him out for three to four weeks. Chris Godwin and Emeka Egbuka are also expected to step up during his absence.

Onedale Robinson, Giants vs. Saints
Robinson is likely to see more action with Malik Narvers out. The matchup against the Saints presents a favorable opportunity, given that they’ve struggled against receivers this season. He currently ranks third in total EPA among receivers allowed by opposing teams, yet he’s only registered on 49% of Yahoo leagues.
Eric Ayomanor, Titans vs. Cardinals
Ayomanor leads Titans receivers in targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns. That said, starting him weekly might not be a given since the Titans have been inconsistent on offense. He has managed to score twice, leading the team in air yards as well. If he maintains this level of involvement, big performances might be just around the corner. The Cardinals’ pass defense has been generous, allowing the most receptions this season and ranking fourth in receiving yards allowed.
