Best 100 PPR wide receivers for fantasy football in Week 8

NFL Week 8 Preview

Here we are, heading into Week 8 of the NFL season. It’s time to rally for your fantasy team. Consider making some changes, like swapping out Puka Nacua and Jackson Smith-Njigba for Keishon Boutte and Tez Johnson. It might be a challenging week, especially with six teams on bye.

The teams sitting out this week include: Cardinals, Jaguars, Lions, Rams, Raiders, and Seahawks.

Players to keep an eye on are Marvin Harrison Jr., Brian Thomas Jr., Travis Hunter, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker, Jackson Smith-Njigba, and Cooper Kupp.

Injury-wise, Evans returned from a hamstring issue in Week 7 but now has a broken collarbone and a concussion, which sadly puts an end to his fantasy season. Emeka Egbuka is stepping into the number one spot, while Chris Godwin continues to recover. Tez Johnson and Sterling Shepard might be next in line for fantasy action.

Nacua has been dealing with a variety of injuries but has managed to continue as a strong fantasy WR1. Unfortunately, an ankle injury in Week 6 held him out of Week 7. He’ll take this bye week to recover, likely returning in Week 9.

Wilson was questionable after hyperextending his knee in Week 6 and missed Week 7. There were early reports suggesting he’d be sidelined for about two weeks, so it’ll be interesting to see if he can practice this week and possibly play, especially with Tyrod Taylor ready to step in.

Pearsall hurt his knee in Week 4 against the Jaguars but expected to return quickly. Now, he’s missed three games—hopefully he can get back on the practice field soon.

Terry McLaurin, Commander

McLaurin sustained a quadriceps injury in Week 3 against the Raiders but wasn’t placed on IR. He managed a bit of practice in Week 7, but it wasn’t extensive. Keep an eye on this week’s practice report because he might be on track to return for Monday Night Football against the Chiefs.

Ridley tweaked his hamstring in Week 6 and could not play in Week 7. Chaimea Dike filled in during his absence, but right now, it seems no receiver is ready to take on a heavy workload for the struggling Titans.
