Fantasy Football Playoff Update

We’ve made it to the fantasy football playoffs! It wasn’t all luck; your skills and, let’s be honest, your undeniable charm got you here. The first round should be a breeze, and after that, well, it’s all about overcoming any obstacles that stand in your way.

Jaden Reed, Broncos vs. Packers

This matchup isn’t ideal, but Reed quickly got back into his groove following an injury. He caught all four passes targeted at him for a total of 31 yards and also carried the ball twice for 22 yards. His natural talent and play-making ability should continue to benefit him moving forward.

Odunze has been dealing with a stress fracture, which kept him off the field last week for some much-needed healing. His status for this week remains unclear, but it doesn’t seem like he’ll be out for too long. Hopefully, after a week off, he can get back to practice.

Lamb sustained a concussion last Thursday night, but the extra time before Sunday’s game might give him the breather he needs to recover. If he’s fit to play, he’s definitely someone you’d want in your lineup.

Higgins has had a tough go, suffering concussions in both Week 12 and Week 14. Frankly, I doubt he’ll be back any time soon. In his absence, Mike Gesicki should see a nice increase in his fantasy value, and Ja’Marr Chase might find himself with more opportunities as well.

Rondon faced a PCL sprain in Week 11 against the Panthers. He’s been out for three weeks now, hasn’t practiced, and isn’t on IR. With Thursday’s game against the Saints looming, it seems unlikely he’ll play, though you never know. If he’s out, Kyle Pitts could thrive as a significant beneficiary.

Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals

Harrison Jr. made his return from an appendectomy last week but then got sidelined with a foot injury. He didn’t practice last week, making his chances of playing this week look slim. I’m curious to see if he can manage to practice soon, or else Michael Wilson might steal the spotlight.
