NFL Week 14 Update

As the NFL season rolls into Week 14, many fantasy players are acutely aware of their standings—it’s often a case of win and you’re in, or lose and you’re out. This weekend might just be the most pivotal moment in your fantasy season, so let’s dive into the details.

Some teams to keep an eye on include the Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, New York Giants, and San Francisco 49ers.

Notable players to watch: Tetailoa McMillan, Stefon Diggs, Wan’Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, Jauan Jennings, and Ricky Pearsall.

Chris Godwin, Buccaneers vs. Saints

Godwin returned to action, playing 66% of the snaps last week. Expect that number to climb into the 70s or even 80s this week. He recorded 78 receiving yards and caught three of five targets, although he did miss out on a touchdown catch. The Saints’ pass defense has its strengths, but they also have vulnerabilities, and it seems Godwin is on track to be back full-time.

Higgins was sidelined due to a concussion in Week 12 and missed the Thanksgiving game. However, he looks to have a good shot at being cleared before facing the Bills.

Rondon suffered a PCL sprain in Week 11 during a game against the Panthers. Although he’s been out for a couple of weeks, he isn’t on injured reserve, suggesting he has a chance to play against the Seahawks if he can participate in practice.

St. Brown sprained his ankle on Thanksgiving Day, but luckily, it doesn’t seem to be severe enough to keep him out for weeks. He might potentially suit up against the Cowboys, although with the Thursday night game looming, that seems a bit uncertain.

Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals

Harrison Jr. made his return from an appendectomy this week but then didn’t play at all due to a foot injury. It doesn’t seem to be serious, but more will be known as practice resumes this Wednesday.

Reed has come back to practice and is starting his recovery from a broken collarbone, but more details on his timeline are still pending.

Upcoming matchups worth noting include: Cowboys at Lions (54.5), Bengals vs. Bills (52.5), Rams vs. Cardinals (48.5), and Colts vs. Jaguars (47.5).

On the lower end of the scale, Titans vs. Browns (33.5), Eagles vs. Chargers (40.5), Broncos vs. Raiders (40.5), and Dolphins at Jets (41.5) round out the list.

Maximum Implied Individual Team Total
