Week 15 Fantasy Football Insights
Welcome to Week 15, which marks the start of the Fantasy Football Playoffs for some of you! Hopefully, CeeDee Lamb can shake off his concussion, but Drake Rondon seems a bit uncertain heading into Thursday’s game. We’re all hoping for a fair and exciting matchup. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that your fantasy team is ready to go!
Jaden Reed, Broncos vs. Packers
The matchup isn’t the best, yet Reed wasted no time getting back into his groove after his injury. He managed to catch all four of his targets for 31 yards and even rushed twice for an additional 22 yards. His skills, combined with the opportunities created for him, should keep him relevant moving forward.
Odunze has been playing through a stress fracture, and the team decided he needed some time to recover last week. His status is a bit up in the air for this week, but it doesn’t seem like he’ll be out for too long. We’ll see if he can practice and suit up after just a week off.
CeeDee Lamb suffered a concussion last Thursday, but the extra time before Sunday’s game might work in his favor for a recovery. If he’s cleared to play, he’s definitely a must-start. On the off chance he can’t go, Ryan Flournoy actually stepped up while Lamb was sidelined last week.
Higgins has had a tough go with concussions—one in Week 12 followed by another in Week 14. I don’t expect we’ll be seeing him back on the field anytime soon. Mike Gesicki should see an uptick in fantasy points, and Ja’Marr Chase might hit a significant target percentage.
Rondon had a PCL sprain during the game against the Panthers in Week 11. He’s been out for three weeks and hasn’t practiced yet, just ahead of the Thursday game against the Saints. Honestly, I’m skeptical he’ll play, but who knows? Kyle Pitts could stand to gain the most if Rondon remains out.
Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals
After returning from an appendectomy the week before last, Harrison Jr. sat out last week due to a foot injury. He didn’t practice, so his chances of playing this week look slim. I’m curious to see if he can get back on the field before Michael Wilson swoops in and really takes over.
