Bettor places massive $3.1 million bet on Eagles to beat Panthers

The High Rollers will go all out against the Eagles this weekend.

A Kentucky bettor wagered $3.1 million at Circa Sportsbook in Philadelphia to beat the Carolina Panthers on Sunday in one of the largest reported NFL bets in history.

If the odds are -700, your bet will result in a profit of approximately $442,800.

On Friday, Circa responded to the big action by putting the Eagles at -870 and increasing the Panthers' odds to win to +650.

Derek Stevens, owner of Circa Sports told ESPN That's the biggest bet in sportsbook history.

“I told my guys in the risk room to go to work and get the Panthers a buyout,” Stevens told the outlet on Friday. “We're in five states now, so we should have enough liquidity to get the Eagles to buy back until we end up needing them.”

The Eagles are the biggest favorites to win in Week 14, sitting at -13.5 at most major sportsbooks as of this writing.

If Carolina wins, it would be the biggest upset of the NFL season so far, surpassing the Cowboys' 10.5-point win over the Commanders in Week 12.

Last week, the Raiders almost pulled off an even bigger upset against the Chiefs with a 12.5-point lead, but a poor snap cost them a chance at a game-winning field goal and they fell just short.

The Eagles are currently 10-2, tied for third place in the NFL with the Bills and Vikings, and have won eight straight.

The Panthers are 3-9, but have been on a roll lately, defeating the Giants in Week 10, but losing by three points to the Chiefs and Buccaneers after the bye week.
