Stamps honoring Betty White will soon arrive at your local post office.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) announced Friday that it will memorialize the “Golden Girls” star on its 2025 Forever stamp.
“An American television icon, Betty White (1922-2021) shared her wit and warmth with viewers for 70 years,” the USPS statement said. “A comedic actor who won a younger generation of fans well into her 90s, she was also respected as a compassionate advocate for animals.”
White's digital illustration was created by Boston-based artist Dale Stefanos and is based on a 2010 photograph by renowned photographer Kwaku Alston.

Federal authorities say the stamp was designed by USPS art director Greg Breeding.
The exact release date of the stamp has not been announced.

White passed away in late December 2021, less than three weeks shy of his 100th birthday.

USPS said it will announce additional stamps in the coming weeks and months. The USPS said the additional stamps announced so far celebrate “pop culture icons” as well as history and natural beauty.
Those honored include Allen Toussaint, “a virtuoso pianist, singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and producer who has produced numerous hit songs across multiple genres,” and is recognized by Black Heritage. -This is the 48th stamp in the series.

“This early glimpse of the 2025 stamp program reflects our commitment to providing a diverse range of subject matter and designs to both philatelists and philatelists,” said Lisa Bob Semple, USPS Director of Philatelic Services, in a statement.
