Bianca Censori has returned to jewelry design.
For now, her website showcases just two pieces, which are, well, quite simple.
Literally speaking, they’re titled as you might expect: the “female bracelet” ($2,100) and the “mirror cuff” ($2,250).
The description for the speculum cuff explains that it’s “A slender sterling silver cuff with clean curved edges and a mirrored finish, inspired by the functional contours of a medical speculum.”
The scalpel bracelet has a similar theme. It’s described as “Inspired by scalpel precision, this bracelet features a minimalist profile and a snug fit with a mirrored finish.”
Censori, who wed Kanye West in 2022, is an architect and designer. She initially launched her Nylons jewelry brand back in 2013.
Her earlier jewelry pursuits fizzled out after just a few years, but it seems she’s ready to dive back into it now.
With her bold fashion choices, it’s really not a shocker that her new collection draws inspiration from items like scalpels and speculums.
This past February, the 30-year-old made headlines at the Grammy Awards for her sheer nude mesh minidress, which, ironically, had no jewelry accompanying it.
And more recently, she was seen in Melbourne wearing outfits that featured only lingerie while out with her family.
Currently, with only two designs on offer, it’s hard to tell if Censori’s latest jewelry efforts mark a new direction for her or if it’s just another quirky moment in her creative journey.
If this trend continues, who knows? Maybe we’ll be seeing forceps necklaces or rings that resemble surgical scissors.
Only time will reveal what’s next.
