Bibas memorial in Times Square draws ‘some of the worst antisemitism,’ influencer says

Israeli influencer Zach Sage Fox infiltrated the West Bank and interviewed liberated terrorists, but says he saw “some of the worst anti-Semitism” while filming at Times Square.

In the middle of New York City's famous Times Square, Fox set up the Ariel and Kufia Vivas memorial site, taking photos of two boys, orange balloons, orange flowers and orange painted oranges. Oranges have been frequently used to represent Vivas children, both of whom are redheads.

The influencers went to the West Bank to see if the Palestinians were supporting Hamas.

Fox says the idea came to him shortly after it was announced that the bodies of Ariel Vivas, Kufia Vivas, Siri Vivas and the oded Lifsitz would return to Israel on ffin.

“You know, I feel God gives me an idea, and this came straight into my head,” he told Fox News Digital. “There was a vision for this crib in the middle of Times Square.”

Fox knew that many people who saw the monument “didn't know what happened,” but thought, “it felt like something we could do to make a statement and create a piece of art about their honor.”

Influencers imagined the monument as a place to bring people together in mourning. Some non-Jews and those who were not familiar with Vivas children offered sympathy, while many others used it as a moment of protest.

“The scary thing was that it actually caused the worst of the many anti-Sems who stopped at this monument to scream “free Palestine,” Fox said.

When talking to Fox News Digital about the fate of the Bibas children, Fox said he “feels worse than October 7th.” He explained that Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023 had a “shocking factor,” but a year and a half after the war, “pain” “is even greater scars, especially since these babies have truly become symbols of Hamas' crime.”

Ariel Vivas was 4 years old at the time of the invitation, and Kufiel Vivas was 9 months old. They were placed on February 26, 2025 to rest along with their mother, Siri Vivas. The mother and her two young sons were buried in one cas, all three were praised by Yaden Bibas, her husband, Ariel and Kfir father. Yaden was also taken hostage on October 7th, but was later released as part of an ongoing ceasefire deal.
