President Biden's decision to pardon his son Hunter, despite having previously vowed he would not give him a pass, shows a new poll released Wednesday showed Americans' approval ratings was only 20%.
A poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that about half of adults disapprove of the pardon given to Hunter after he was convicted of felony gun and tax charges.
According to the poll, about 18% of adults said they neither supported nor opposed the decision, while 8% said they did not know enough to say either way.
Democrats were more likely than Republicans or independents to approve a pardon, but the poll found that only 38% of Democrats approved of it, compared to 27% who said they did not support it.
