Lawmakers and conservative commentators ridiculed the Biden administration for calling undocumented immigrants “newcomers,” arguing it was the latest of many euphemisms for illegal immigrants.
In a fact sheet distributed by the White House press office in support of the bipartisan border agreement approved by President Biden, officials said the bill would include “cities and cities that provide critical services to newcomers. It noted that it included $1.4 billion to the state.
This was slammed by the official House Republican account on X, which wrote, “President Biden now refers to illegal immigrants as ‘newcomers.'” Joe Biden is not serious about stopping illegal immigration into the United States. This is a planned disaster. ”
The post went viral on social media, with multiple celebrities slamming the Biden administration’s rhetoric.

Many members of Congress and politicians also criticized White House leadership.
