President Joe Biden, in an interview aimed at proving his mental acuity after his disastrous debate performance, acknowledged that he was waging “wars around the world.”
During an exchange with ABC News, Biden claimed former President Donald Trump was a “pathological liar” and that he would challenge him in a way he has never been challenged before.
ABC News host George Stephanopoulos responded: “You’ve got months to challenge him.”
Biden countered that he hasn’t done so yet because he’s “busy with a lot of other things, including wars around the world.”
“We had a few months to try and challenge him.”
Biden: “That’s true, but I was also fighting wars all over the world and doing a lot of other things.”

Since the Biden administration took office, the U.S. military has been actively involved in at least five conflicts.
U.S. troops were called into action during the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan for noncombatant evacuation operations, in which 13 U.S. soldiers were killed, but they were also training, advising and equipping Ukrainian forces fighting against Russian forces in the ongoing war.
The U.S. military also launched operations in the Red Sea to protect American and international commercial ships from attacks by Yemen’s Houthi terrorists, and two Navy SEALs were killed during a mission to block Iranian arms supplies to the Houthis.

US troops have also been targeted by Iranian-backed militias in Iraq and Syria, and in Jordan, Iranian-backed militias fired missiles at a US military base on the Jordan-Syria border, killing three soldiers.
The U.S. military is also trying to prevent a larger war from breaking out in the Middle East after Hamas terrorists attacked Israel on October 7, leaving about 1,200 people dead in southern Israel and taking hundreds hostage.
US forces have also been ordered to build a temporary pier to deliver humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip.
