Biden Claims Press Has ‘Been Hammering’ Him Since Debate

President Joe Biden, speaking at a rally in Detroit, Michigan on Friday, claimed the media has “continued to attack” him since his performance at the presidential debate a few weeks ago.

meanwhile Busy Biden told an audience at Renaissance High School that he “sometimes” gets people’s names wrong. His comments came a day after he held a solo press conference in which he incorrectly referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as former President Donald Trump and misrepresented Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Since the debate, as you may have noticed, the press and the good men and women out there have been attacking me,” Biden said, as the crowd began booing. “I’ve made a lot of mistakes.”

“They’re attacking me because I sometimes get my name wrong,” Biden added. “I say ‘Charlie,’ not ‘Bill.’ And guess what? Donald Trump gets absolved.”

In response to Biden’s comments, several noted that his remarks were similar to Trump’s “fake news” comments about the mainstream media.

“Some might say it’s ‘fake news,'” says journalist and author Ryan Gardusky. I have written In post X.

“The president went around searching the crowd for the death of a congresswoman he was already mourning,” said Peter Hasson, editor of the Washington Free Beacon. I have written“Does the crowd know about it? Seriously, do they know about it? If not, this is an indictment on CNN/MSNBC.”

“What a strange world we live in where Donald Trump feels exonerated and then he blames it on the media and his cognitive abilities,” said Peter Tway, vice president of Target Victory. I have written“These guys never fall off.”

“Biden is capitalizing on Trump’s anti-media messaging in key battleground states,” American Conservatives Kurt Mills I have written“There’s nothing to see here!”

Since the June 27 presidential debate, Biden has faced calls from donors and Democrats to withdraw from the presidential race and “stand aside” to allow another candidate to run.

Democratic megadonor and Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings has also called on Biden to “step back,” and George Clooney recently wrote an op-ed just weeks after fundraising for Biden that he doesn’t believe he can win the November election.

Despite calls for him to withdraw from the presidential race, Biden continues to insist he has no plans to withdraw from the election.
