President Biden and former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton are scheduled to appear alongside liberal late-night show host Stephen Colbert in a fundraiser that could raise more than $10 million.
The fundraiser is scheduled for March 28, and the cheapest tickets cost about $250. NBC News. A photo op with all three presidents will cost $100,000, and attendees who donate $250,000 or $500,000 will be allowed to attend a separate event with the Democratic trio.
Colbert, an avid Democratic supporter who has anchored “The Late Show” since 2015, is expected to moderate a conversation with all three presidents, with more than 3,000 people expected to attend. .
“This will be the largest fundraiser of Joe Biden’s political career. I believe it’s the largest fundraiser in Democratic history. It’s also the only time three people have participated.” [Democratic] presidents did something [campaign] Let’s fundraise together,” Biden Victory Fund National Treasurer Chris Koji told NBC News.

The most anticipated prize at the event is expected to be a photo with all three Democratic presidents.
Colbert’s participation in the fundraiser confirms how his own show and politics are helping boost the Democratic Party. He frequently invites Democrats and liberal journalists onto his show for flattering interviews.
Biden recently sat down with Seth Meyers for a late-night interview in which he asked the president about voters’ concerns about his age.
“Well, a few things. Number one, look at the other guy. He’s about my age, but he can’t remember his wife’s name,” Biden replied, drawing cheers from the crowd. I stirred it up.

The Associated Press reported in February that the president had held just 33 press conferences during his first three years in office. He also gave only 86 formal interviews with the press, compared to 422 interviews for President Obama during his first three years.
Colbert met with at least 13 different elected Democrats and 13 Biden and Obama administration officials in 2022 ahead of the midterm elections.

The late-night show’s hosts include former “Full Frontal” host Samantha Bee, MSNBC’s Joy Reid, 1619 Project founder Nicole Hannah-Jones and MSNBC’s Chris Hayes in 2022. It featured at least 15 decidedly liberal journalists and satirists.
