On Monday’s broadcast of NewsNation’s “Cuomo,” Democratic strategist James Carville responded to criticism of President Biden’s declaration of Transgender Visibility Day on Easter, saying, “It’s as if Biden As if we knew it was a day of visualization.” He said he didn’t think “nobody in the White House was aware” that Transgender Visibility Day and Easter coincided.
“I honestly think it’s very stupid that Mr. Biden knew it was Transgender Awareness Day,” Carville said. By the way, Mr. Biden, as you know, goes to Mass and Holy Communion every week. President Trump could not be found inside the church. I really think this is completely unreasonable. I don’t think anyone in the White House knew about this. As you pointed out, every day is the same as usual. It’s March 31st. I don’t see anywhere in President Trump’s Bible that Jesus tells us to hate transgender people, gay people, or anyone else. ”
He added: “I don’t think Mr. Biden knew. I don’t think it was Mike or Anita or any of them, but that doesn’t get through to the upper echelons of the White House.”
Carville then went on to say: “I don’t think anyone knew about the Transgender Declaration. I worked in the mayor’s office. There’s a declaration.[s] The same thing happened every other day at the White House. ”
