On Friday, President Biden surprised listeners by appearing as a guest on The Howard Stern Show, making an unannounced appearance on the longtime radio host’s Sirius show.
“I think I should leave now,” Biden joked after Stern confessed that he was a big admirer of the president and had wanted to meet him for a long time.
“Everyone will think I’m giving you a fake interview, but you’re really here,” Stern said.
Mr. Biden’s meeting with Mr. Stern came shortly after the New York Times published a stunning statement condemning Mr. Biden’s historic avoidance of one-on-one interviews with credible news organizations.
