According to a House Republican report, Joe Biden engaged in “impeachable conduct.”
This follows a months-long impeachment investigation into the president.
House Republicans found Biden committed “impeachable conduct” during a months-long impeachment investigation and declared in a long-awaited report that he “abused the power of his office” and “misled the United States to enrich his family.”
Fox News Digital obtained a copy of the 292-page report prepared by the House Oversight Committee, the House Judiciary Committee and the House Ways and Means Committee, which have been leading the impeachment investigation into Biden.
“The Committee has accumulated evidence indicating that President Biden has engaged in impeachable conduct,” the report, outlining the evidence collected so far, said.
Republicans said there was “overwhelming evidence” that Biden engaged in a “conspiracy to exploit the trust of public office to enrich his family.” They alleged that the Biden family and their business associates received tens of millions of dollars by “leading foreign interests to believe that such payments would give them access and influence over President Biden.”
“Joe Biden used his position as vice president to obtain favorable results in overseas business deals for his son and a business partner, and witnesses confirmed Hunter Biden’s involvement,” the report states.
From 2014 to the present, the Biden family and their associates have received over $27 million from foreign individuals or entities as part of a conspiracy to enrich the Biden family using Joe Biden’s office of public trust. To obscure the source of these funds, the Biden family and their associates established shell companies to hide these payments from scrutiny. The Biden family used proceeds from these business activities to provide hundreds of thousands of dollars to Joe Biden, including thousands of dollars traceable directly to China. Jim Biden claimed that he gave this money to Joe Biden to repay personal loans, but Jim Biden never presented any evidence to support this claim. For the Biden family to receive millions of dollars, it would have required their willful participation in this conspiracy, including while Joe Biden was serving as Vice President.
Joe Biden used his position as Vice President to obtain favorable overseas business deals for his son and his business partners, and witnesses have confirmed that Hunter Biden was involved.
“Vice President Biden trusted Biden with many of his business dealings with individuals and companies in Russia, Romania, China, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Vice President Biden at the time met with or spoke with nearly all of the Biden family’s overseas business associates, including those in Ukraine, China, Russia and Kazakhstan. As a result, the Biden family has received millions of dollars from these overseas entities.”
“The Biden family used Joe Biden’s position of public trust to obtain over $8 million in loans from Democratic donors. Millions of dollars in loans have never been repaid, and the documentation supporting many of the loans does not exist or have been provided to the committee. This raises serious questions about whether these funds were provided as gifts disguised as loans.”
Under the Biden administration, the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) gave special treatment to President Biden’s son, Hunter Biden. Several witnesses acknowledged the sensitive approach used in the Hunter Biden case, describing the investigation as “delicate” or “serious.” Evidence showed that Department of Justice officials delayed the investigation, informed the defense of upcoming investigative activities, prevented field investigators from following normal investigative procedures, and allowed the statute of limitations for the most serious felonies to expire. These unusual (and in many cases, in the witnesses’ view, unprecedented) tactics violated standard operating procedures and ultimately worked in Hunter Biden’s favor.
The Biden Justice Department misled Congress about the independence of law enforcement in the Hunter Biden criminal investigation. Biden Administration political appointees exercised significant oversight and control over the investigation of the President’s son. Witnesses described how David Weiss, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware who oversaw the investigation and prosecution of Hunter Biden and who is now Special Counsel, had to (1) seek the consent of other U.S. Attorneys to bring cases in a geographic district different from his own and (2) seek approval from the Biden Justice Department’s Tax Division to bring specific charges or investigative actions against Hunter Biden. Despite the apparent conflict of interest, Weiss was granted special counsel status only after the investigation received congressional scrutiny.
“The White House is obstructing the Committee’s impeachment investigation by withholding key documents and witnesses. The White House is obstructing the Committee’s investigation into President Biden’s illegal storage of classified documents by refusing to allow relevant witnesses to appear for interviews and by falsely asserting executive privilege over audio recordings of Special Counsel Hoare’s interviews with President Biden. Additionally, the White House is preventing the National Archives from turning over documents critical to the Committee’s investigation.”
