Biden family visits the set of 'Reacher' and meets actor Alan Ritchson in Philadelphia.

On Monday morning, former President Joe Biden and his family unexpectedly showed up on the set of the action series “Reacher.” Biden, along with his wife Jill and son Hunter, surprised the cast and crew during a scene involving a police pursuit, as reported by CBS Philadelphia.

A local photographer, Huge Dillon, captured the moment and described how a black SUV drove right into the filming area. Dillon recalled, “I thought they were actors at first, but then everyone started clapping and cheering. Someone even shouted, ‘We love you, Joe!'”

Apparently, Biden had been in the area enjoying breakfast at a nearby restaurant, Parc. Afterward, he took the time to meet with several cast members, including the lead actor, Alan Richson.

Dillon noted the surprise on the cast and crew’s faces, which he found quite unusual. “I never imagined something like this happening; it felt surreal,” he stated.

It’s unclear if Biden was aware that filming was taking place outside the restaurant before his visit. His office has been contacted for a comment.

Richson later shared his thoughts about the encounter on Instagram, writing, “Our set got interrupted by these legends. Meeting the Biden family was an honor; they were genuinely kind and delightful.”

He also shared photos and videos of his interactions with Biden and Hunter Biden.

Interestingly, Richson has previously voiced strong political opinions. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter earlier this year, he criticized the support some evangelical Christians give to Donald Trump, stating, “It’s unrealistic for the church to treat him as a hero.” He further elaborated on facing backlash for expressing his views, suggesting that a more generous attitude aligns with true Christian values.
