President Joe Biden appeared to freeze and become confused for a moment while answering a question a few minutes into the debate with former President Donald Trump.
Biden’s visibly frozen expression as he advocated tripling taxes on billionaires lasted more than 10 seconds before the clock was out.

He said:
We’re going to help them make sure they can do all the things that we need to do, like child care and elder care, continue to strengthen our health care system, deal with what I’ve been doing with COVID-19, excuse me, all the things that we need to do, and ultimately defeat Medicare, so that we can get health care for everyone.
“Thank you, President Biden,” CNN host Jake Tapper interjected before Biden stood his ground and gave Trump a chance to speak.
Trump was quick to attack Biden on Medicare and Social Security.
“Yeah, he’s right. He’s destroyed Medicare,” Trump said. “He’s gutted it, and he’s destroying Medicare because there are a lot of people coming in, and they’re putting them on Medicare, they’re putting them on Social Security.”
He added that Biden “would singlehandedly destroy Social Security.”
Biden was visibly disoriented on stage as concerns about his mental health and age are well-documented among American voters.
May’s Harvard-Harris poll found that “55% of registered voters (26% of Democrats) said they had doubts about President Trump’s mental health, and 66% (34% of Democrats) said they felt Trump was ‘too old’ for the job,” Breitbart News reported.
