Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) said Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “American Report” that President Joe Biden “has been an absolute champion of the Jewish people.”
Host Sandra Smith said: “Congressman, whether politics is involved or not, I sent out a tweet to that effect, but if all of this is true, what do you think?” ?” he asked. As this war continues, will there be any political implications for the president’s re-election campaign?
Moskowitz said, “Look, Joe Biden is an absolute defender of Jews, not only as president, not only as vice president, but in the Senate. He has fought anti-Semitism all his life. You’re talking about someone who founded the first Ambassador on Antisemitism. You’re talking about someone who founded the Antisemitism Coalition to get a definition. By the way, I… , you know, I also want to give credit to President Trump for establishing the Abraham Accords, which was huge for the state of Israel.”
He added, “But this administration has done a good job of supporting Israel and supporting the Jewish people. I think the president is doing what he thinks is right. I think you have to let it go wherever it goes. I obviously like how President Trump publicly tells the Jewish community that if you vote for a Democrat, you’re somehow a bad Jew. Not.”
Moskowitz added, “Mr. President, I appreciate that, but maybe you shouldn’t have dinner with Nick Fuentes.” We live in a political season, so obviously you’re trying to straighten out right now, just like you are right now. Obviously, there are differences between me and the Biden administration in terms of how we met with the Biden administration and some of the decisions we made regarding Israel. But over the last six months, I think the Biden administration has supported Israel, supported the Jewish Committee, and obviously appreciated what President Biden did in his speech on anti-Semitism on Holocaust Remembrance Day. ”
