PALM BEACH, Fla. — Former President Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election, exclusively tells Breitbart News that Laken Riley’s parents will be allowed into the country by Democratic President Joe Biden’s administration. He said they were “great people” who had “lost an angel” due to the entry of illegal immigrants into the country. The state allegedly murdered their daughter.
Trump met with Riley’s parents last weekend while campaigning in Georgia. At a rally in Rome, Georgia over the weekend, President Trump met with Laken’s father, Jason Riley, and his mother, Allison Phillips.
Laken Riley went for a jog in late February when he was killed. After weeks of refusing to acknowledge that an illegal alien in his country had allegedly killed her, Biden finally accepted a speech from Rep. In an exclusive 90-minute interview with Breitbart News at Mar-a-Lago on Wednesday night, President Trump spoke to Breitbart News about meeting with Laken Riley’s parents this past weekend.
“Her parents are wonderful people. They lost an angel,” President Trump said. “They lost the person they loved more than anyone else. She was top of her class, top of everything she ever did. She wanted to be a nurse, and she ended up becoming a doctor.” Maybe. Her friends were there too. They said, “We weren’t as good as her.” She was such a perfect person and a good person. Her parents are very good people. I spent time with them. I met her sister and she is beautiful inside and out. People can’t believe what happened. ”
President Trump also criticized Biden, saying he has “no sympathy” for the Riley family following Laken’s murder.
“Other than the fact that Mr. Biden called me the wrong name, I have not seen any sympathy from Mr. Biden,” Trump said. “He only said that because he was humiliated by Marjorie Taylor Greene. I think he picked up the pin to read it, but he couldn’t read it very well. He didn’t know what had happened to him. People who can’t believe what he’s doing. They’ll never be the same.”
Trump added: “Her parents are amazing people and they will never be the same.”
More broadly, President Trump said of the Angel family, the families of victims of murders committed by illegal aliens, that the left despises them. “They’re hated by liberals. They’re hated,” President Trump said.
But the angel family is with him, he said.
