Biden-Hur interview leaks show memory issues, igniting conservative backlash

Breaking: Biden-Hur Audio Released

Audio from a 2023 interview involving former President Joe Biden and special advisor Robert Hur has come to light, creating quite a stir. Released by Axios, the audio showcases Biden struggling with some responses.

This leaked recording presents a concerning picture, revealing Biden’s difficulty in recalling crucial dates, such as the year of his son Beau’s death and when Donald Trump took office.

These revelations have heightened criticisms regarding Biden’s mental acuity, fueling discussions among conservative commentators and politicians on social media platform X.

Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, underscored the need for deeper evaluations of Democrats, stating, “It’s hard not to conclude that those around Biden must realize he’s not fit to lead.”

Fox News contributor Guy Benson described the audio as “painful,” expressing his discomfort while listening and noting that both the questions and Biden’s responses seemed to deteriorate.

Lawrence Jones III, a co-host on Fox & Friends, called for an investigation, suggesting that the entire White House staff should testify under oath.

Concerns over the administration’s hesitance to release such recordings were voiced by former NYPD inspector Paul Mauro, who remarked, “It’s painful… it’s understandable why the DOJ would want to keep this under wraps.”

Implications of Memory Lapses

The transcript from the interview has raised questions about Biden’s memory, contradicting previous claims he made regarding conversations about his son’s passing. This has led to serious discussions about national security, with radio host Hugh Hewitt saying, “Those involved in the cover-up would have known everything about our operations, as would our enemies.”

Jake Schneider of the White House Rapid Response Team expressed his frustrations, stating, “For years we warned you about this. Literally years.”

The chief of protocols for the U.S., Monica Crowley, has labeled this entire situation as potentially “the biggest scandal in U.S. history.”

As reactions flow in, some voices echo sentiments of disappointment and urgency, with remarks like, “This is painful,” suggesting a need for serious accountability regarding Biden’s fitness for office.
