FOX News chief political analyst Britt Hume said Tuesday on FOX News Channel’s “Special Report” that she believes voters can see President Joe Biden as “senile.” .
Anchor Bret Baier said, “I’m sure you’ll be curious to see how the State of the Union stands on the issue of Israel, for example.”
Hume said, “That’s exactly right. He came out strong and basically stuck to his guns in terms of continuing to transport to help Israel and others. Rhetorically speaking, he moved away from Israel.”
“Finally, getting back to tonight, if you remember a year ago, even six months ago, we were looking at the polling numbers here, and independents were voting against President Trump on a variety of issues,” Baier said. I believe that there was a favorable trend toward the future. Did you believe that?”
Mr Hume said: “I’ve always thought that age and eyesight problems were a ticking time bomb. I used to say he was dumb, when it was completely unfashionable to say such things.”
He added: “I think he’s clearly aged now, and the country sees him that way. And one of the challenges for Mr Brett on Thursday night is that even within his own party he doesn’t think he’s fit for the job. I wonder if we can allay the concerns of people who think they are too old and are speaking out.”
