President Joe Biden is pushing to pass a Senate bill that would preserve the program at the U.S.-Mexico border used by illegal aliens accused of killing 22-year-old Laken Riley to enter the United States. I’m asking Congress.
This week, Biden released a series of statements to members of Congress and asked the House and Senate for confirmation. law It was created by Sens. James Lankford (R-Okla.), Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (Iowa-Ariz.), and Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Connecticut), but it was abandoned after a backlash. Ta.
Biden: “Several months ago, I directed my team to begin working with bipartisan members of Congress to fix our immigration system.” I have written On Twitter. “They have done a great job, and together we have proposed some of the fairest reforms ever. Chairman Johnson, it’s time to call a vote and send this bill to my desk. I did.”
Another post from Biden read: “Our bipartisan border agreement is the strongest our country has ever seen.” “It contains the most just and humane reforms to legal immigration, and a majority of Congress supports it. Let’s get it done.”
Among other things, the bill would include Biden’s broader catch-and-release program at the border, including a parole pipeline that would release thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens into U.S. society each day after securing so-called “humanitarian parole.” It will maintain the network.
“[The bill authorizes] It is now clearer how humanitarian parole will be used at land borders, with vetted and sponsored migrants being taken through a program known as CNHV (Cuba, Nicaragua, Haiti and Venezuela Parole). There is no change in the president’s ability to do so,” Murphy said. I have written of the bill.
Biden’s lobbying for a parole pipeline comes as Laken Riley, a nursing student at Augusta University, was allegedly murdered by an illegal alien released into the interior of the United States thanks to a parole pipeline created by his administration. It was held on.
This was announced by the White House Press Secretary. statement Although he expressed his condolences to Riley’s family, he did not mention that the suspected illegal alien was in the United States with assistance from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Our deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones of Laken Hope Riley. If found guilty, people should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Given that this is an active case, we will need to refer you to state law enforcement. [Immigration and Customs Enforcement].
As Breitbart News reported, Jose Antonio Ibarra, a 26-year-old illegal alien from Venezuela, was charged with kidnapping and killing Riley last week as she went for a morning run around the University of Georgia campus in Athens, Georgia. He was arrested and charged.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials confirmed that Ybarra was an illegal alien who first arrived at the border near El Paso, Texas, in September 2022. He was later paroled and released into the interior of the United States.
He remains in the Clark County Jail without bail.
