On Tuesday’s FNC “Hannity,” host Sean Hannity’s monologue focused on President Joe Biden’s response to the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore.
In his remarks about the incident, Mr. Hannity criticized Mr. Biden for causing the tragedy himself.
A partial transcription follows:
But we start with Joe Biden himself. Now, before the President and Vice President depart on separate planes to attend an event in North Carolina, Joe attempts to make a brief remark about the tragic bridge collapse in Baltimore.
This is the sad and pathetic part. As usual, Biden told all about himself, telling yet another epic story about his personal connection to a bridge that never existed. I’ll explain in a moment.

JOE BIDEN, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: At approximately 1:30 a.m., a container ship collided with the Francis Scott Key Bridge. It’s a bridge I cross many times when commuting from Delaware by train or car to the Port of Baltimore. , many times.
(end video clip)
HANNITY: Okay. Big problem, there is no rail line on the Francis Scott Key Bridge, and there is no reason for Joe Biden to cross it on his way to Washington, DC.
But like all national tragedies, no matter what this issue is, Joe Biden always seems to find a way to make it his own.
