Biden opened the door for AVALANCHE of Trump pardons

Joe Biden's pardon for his son Hunter, which covers all federal crimes he committed over the past decade, has dominated the news cycle, and for good reason.

“This is completely unprecedented,” Federalist CEO Sean Davis told Jill Savage and Matthew Peterson on “Blaze News Tonight.” “We believe this is the broadest and far-reaching pardon ever issued in American history.”

Even Gerald Ford's 1974 pardon for Richard Nixon for Watergate only lasted for five years, but Hunter's pardon lasted for a whopping 11 years.

“If you want to look at the pardons given to Confederate generals after the Civil War, people who literally waged war against the United States, you can go back even further, but their pardons have not been this extensive. ,” Davis explained, adding: It's shocking to me to see his son get the largest and most extensive pardon in American history. ”

While shocking and blatantly corrupt, Hunter's pardon is not all negative.

“If they were worried that the J6 protesters would be pardoned before the incident happened, they don't have to worry anymore because that's 100% what will happen.” “A pardon of this nature basically makes it impossible for Democrats to complain or debate future pardons,” Davis said.

But Democrats like Gerry Connolly seem to realize this, too, and have already argued that there should be no blanket pardons like Hunter's in the future.

“It's interesting that this is coming from the Democratic side because they know that at some point the Republicans will be back in power,” Savage said.
