Biden went on to repeat Xi Jinping’s debunked Tibet story, but ultimately shot that down as well.
“I say this to all world leaders, and I say this with all my heart, never underestimate the capabilities of the American people,” Biden told Meyers. “I was asked by Xi Jinping about the time we were together in the mountains of Tibet, and he said, “Can you define America for him?”

He then defended our economy, calling it the best in the world.
Additionally, when Biden spoke about this earlier, he apparently referred to Xi Jinping as “Dong Zhouping.”
