Democratic strategist James Carville said Monday on CNN’s “Inside Politics” that President Joe Biden needs to immediately step up his attacks on former President Donald Trump.
“Trump is legitimately on the back foot,” Carville said. “I would attack him right now because he’s obviously crazy. Political commentator Paul Begala said, “James is absolutely right. President Biden and his campaign have done a great job of raising money. The Democrats have done a great job. The Republicans seem bankrupt. Trump. Looks like it’s bankrupt. Attack, attack, attack, stop bragging and start bashing.”
Carville added, “This is the first presidential campaign in my life that isn’t actually about the future, but it’s not just about what he’s done, what he’s going to do, what he’s going to do.
