On FNC’s “Jesse Watters Prime Time” on Friday, host Jesse Watters’ opening monologue echoed President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address the night before and described himself as the last man standing between the country and authoritarianism. It focused on his efforts to portray himself.
Watters argued that Biden’s speech was not a “typical State of the Union address with memorable presidential prose and soaring speeches,” but proof that Biden is still alive.
WATTERS: Abraham Lincoln said in his 1862 State of the Union address, “We will nobly save the earth’s last best hope, or we will willfully lose it.” Those words came just weeks after the Battle of Antietam, where 23,000 Americans were massacred, known as the bloodiest day in American history.
Lincoln’s words carried weight, and he was honest Abe.
In 1941, Franklin Roosevelt articulated America’s four important human freedoms: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom from want and fear.
FDR appealed to Americans to protect democracy in war-torn Europe. These presidents did not use words to scare Americans for political gain, but to mobilize Americans to respond to this moment.
President Biden didn’t have the decency to arrive on time for the State of the Union address last night, but once he entered the chamber, he very slowly squeezed out political affection as he made his way to the podium, making his way to the embarrassingly childish politicians’ ego. Enjoy the glitz and attention, stopping for long, fun conversations where no one refused a single photo.
There was something grotesquely pathetic about the way the grown men and women of the president’s party flocked to him, as if he had real talent. It was as if Democrats had never spent time with the president. It was as if he had woken up from hibernation and showed proof that he was alive.
Don’t they see him at Christmas parties and Easter egg rolls? Don’t they meet with him about the bill? Perhaps they wanted to capture on camera the moment they met the greatest president of all time. Because the person Joe Biden compared himself to was a combination of Abraham Lincoln and FDR.
Biden has declared himself a wartime president, saying he is saving democracy at home and abroad, just as America did in the Civil War and World War II.

BIDEN: Franklin Roosevelt came to this chamber to address the nation and said, Hitler was on the march. War was raging in Europe. Freedom and democracy are under attack around the world. ”
Tonight, I am in the same chamber to address the nation. Not since President Lincoln during the Civil War have freedom and democracy been under attack at home like they are today.
What is unusual about our time is that freedom and democracy are under simultaneous attack at home and abroad.

Waters: Biden has positioned this election as a military operation, not a political campaign. Just as Hitler and the Confederacy were defeated, so will Putin and Trump. This is how Biden is positioning himself. He will defeat Trump, the enemy of the state.

WATERS: Now, as someone who studies human behavior, when I see wild, sudden changes in energy levels, I feel like there’s something going on. This man had been running around the White House listless for three years. He is neither an early riser nor a late night owl.
People who fall asleep in public as they struggle to serve their sentences go from 1 to 10, and even the Washington Post is trying to make Biden pee in a glass to test for steroids. Joe needed to show intensity to prove Herr’s reporting wrong, but all he did was yell at the Supreme Court, corporations, the Republican Party, Trump, and everyone else over and over again.

WATERS: This was a prime-time attack ad that the Biden campaign would have had to pay the networks to air. He gave a convention speech pretending to be a politician.
If Trump had been this viciously partisan in his State of the Union address, they would have cut the feed. Abortion, class warfare, high government taxes and spending, welfare benefits. That was crazy. He spent more time talking about snacks than fentanyl.

We actually contacted the White House and got no response. We asked to meet with them to understand how they came to call this a success, but have not heard back. Many months have passed.

Considering this man has lost his own children to car accidents and cancer, his callous attitude toward American suffering is sociopathic.
Biden’s policies are creating gold star moms and angel moms, but he can’t call them or hear their names correctly. Laken Riley’s mother wrote: “Biden doesn’t even know my child’s name. That’s pathetic.”
If you’re going to say your name, at least say the correct name, even if you’re forced to. If President Trump had called George Floyd, Jim Floyd, that riot would not have been as peaceful.
Biden is inherently selfish. He spent 40 years climbing the cliffs of Washington until he finally reached the pinnacle of power. He fails, he believes he is a hero and he will say anything to survive.
He even concocted a fake civil war to scare the country and stay in power, but the real civil war is within his own party, and last night, cannons were fired to wage what he calls a brutal battle. He signaled that he had gunpowder. the soul of the nation.
Who knows where that gunpowder came from? But as we warned, Biden believes he is a wartime president, ready to take whatever action is necessary to protect our country from you, our enemy.
