President Biden’s staff is reportedly meticulously preparing the president in advance for how he will enter and exit fundraisers.
Biden’s aides prepared a document that read in bold type: “Walk to the podium,” according to a copy obtained by Axios. It also included a photo of the White House seal along with a clear path to the podium.
Axios reported that some Democrats who have attended or helped organize Biden’s events in recent months have questioned whether the meticulous attention to detail reflects the 81-year-old president’s limitations.
“I was a staffer at a simple fundraiser at a private home, but Biden was treating it like a NATO summit,” a person who reportedly worked at Biden events in the past 18 months told Axios.

Axios obtained a copy of a five-page document template that the White House is reportedly sending to staff in preparation for the president.
The document also reportedly contained large photos of the event venue on each page, with messages such as “view from the podium” and “view from the audience.”

The White House has denied any unusual instructions to the 81-year-old president, whose disastrous defeat in a debate in Atlanta has raised serious concerns among Democrats about his chances of running for a second term.
“A high level of detail and precision is essential to presidential preparatory work, regardless of who is president, and this is a fundamental approach taken by modern preparatory teams, including the Office of the Vice President and government agencies,” Andrew Bates, senior deputy White House press secretary and deputy chief of staff to the president, said in a statement to Fox News Digital following the report. “Then-Vice President Biden’s team did the same, as did other key members of the Obama-Biden Administration during the second term.”
“These documents are standard logistics briefings and photographs for all leaders, including the vice president,” Kirsten Allen, a spokeswoman for Harris, added.

A White House official who spoke to Axios said the document was part of the “advance team work” routine and may seem strange to people who aren’t used to seeing detailed, exhaustive documents “whoever is responsible.” The outlet also quoted two former aides who worked with Biden when he was vice president, but claimed the documents were different then, focusing on site drawings.
