Dr Sebastian Gorka, president and senior terrorism director of the White House National Security Council, monitored Somali ISIS leaders for nearly two years in an exclusive interview on Thursday, but did nothing.
“The Biden administration has been monitoring Somali ISIS leaders for almost two years, and they did nothing to kill him,” Gorka tells Alex Marlow, editor-in-chief of Breitbart News and Salem Podcast Network's. I did. Alex Marlow Show.
In contrast, President Donald Trump has approved a strike that took over his leader and 13 other ISIS members in less than a few weeks in office.
According to US Africa Command, leader Ahmed Maereninin was a key ISIS recruiter, financial operator and external operations leader responsible for the deployment of jihadists throughout the US and Europe.
In the interview, Gorka shared that behind the scenes details of the strike are not categorized.
“I'm stepping into an oval office together [National Security Adviser] Mike Waltz has an operational package for the president to sign off with his iconic Sharpie Pen. So he looked up from Resolute Desk two weeks ago and said, “What does it mean that the Biden administration was keeping an eye on Somali ISIS leaders for almost two years? We didn't kill him?”
“And you know, he gives us an order to “go.” And literally, within 30 hours, I'm in the situation room under the West Wing,” he said.
Gorka said it was 9:48am ET on Saturday, February 1st, 2025. He was waiting for the waltz along with his team members.
He said the bomb was on the target and was ready to be fired at 9:50am ET.
“We're going – where is Mike? Where is the national security adviser? And he walked 90 seconds after going, he came from another meeting and sat down, and we went to the sit room. We have these floor-to-ceiling television screens, and all of a sudden we are in 24 episodes,” he said. “All of a sudden we're in a Jason Bourne movie. This cave complex starts to explode. It's not a film, it's not a special effect.”
Gorka added: “President Trump, Mike Waltz, is bringing justice to Jihadis on the other side of the planet, and we're watching it in real time.”
Gorka said the footage was quickly declassified within four hours and sent to Trump in Mar Arago.
“President Trump posted it and there's a viral tweet in the block letter. “You want to come after America, we'll find you, we'll kill you.”
“It's an average day for me these days,” he said. “I pinch myself every day.”
