Biden trolls Trump for boasting about golf trophies: ‘Quite the accomplishment’

President Biden mocked former President Trump on Sunday night after he boasted about winning two golf trophies at an awards ceremony at his golf club.

“Congratulations Donald. What a complete accomplishment,” Biden wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Biden attached a screenshot of Trump’s post on Truth Social that night.

“It is my great honor to attend tonight’s awards night at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach and accept the Club Championship Trophy and the Senior Club Championship Trophy. I won both!” Trump he wrote in a post on Truth Social.

“A large group of members who are talented at golf, a nice and difficult course made the play very exciting. Qualifying and matches were both great. We have a large and distinguished group there tonight. Very It’s exciting, thank you!!!” Trump continuation.

Biden’s post comes nearly two weeks after both presidents won their respective parties’ nominations and set their sights on the general election this November. Campaigning has intensified in recent weeks in preparation for the expected rematch between Trump and Biden.

The race is extremely close, with a virtual rematch between the presumptive leaders of each party. Mr. Trump leads Mr. Biden by just 1 point in head-to-head polls, according to national polling averages from The Hill/Decision Desk Headquarters.

In a three-way hypothetical contest that also includes independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s lead over Biden widens to 1.9 percentage points, an average of 9.8 percentage points in the hypothetical contest.

The Trump campaign hit back at Biden with a statement criticizing the physical abilities of his political opponent.

Trump’s spokesperson said: “Crooked Joe Biden is jealous of all the physical things he does, whether he falls off his bike, whiffs on a golf ball, or just kicks his ass in front of the world.” Everything you do is shameful.”
