In the online “overtime” segment of HBO's “real-time” broadcast on Friday, host Bill Maher said the environmental funds spent by the Biden administration on the last day would “just raise money for people who haven't solved the problem.” And the group that earned the money said, “It wasn't actually an environmental group and had no experience doing it.”
While discussing the Federal Department of Education, Maher said the department may have done some good things, “some of these places seem to be pouring money into people who haven't solved the problem.”
He continued. “I saw the story of two billion people after Biden lost, not the EPA, not the EPA, or not the EPA, but there was $20 billion that they narrowed down to the group because Trump came and they were trying to turn all this around. And that's probably the [went to] Environmental Group. And they were not really an environmental group and had no experience doing it. Like I said before, I care about plastic. Do you think this money will remove the plastic from my brain? I don't. ”
