The Biden campaign challenged the top Republican candidate to two debates in June and September before early voting.
“I hear Wednesdays are free,” Biden chided, referring to President Trump’s ongoing criminal trial in New York, which is adjourned on Wednesdays.
The Biden campaign has also proposed holding a vice presidential debate in July.
The Trump campaign has long asked Biden to participate in a debate in the 2024 cycle.
