Netflix plans to raise prices for its ad-free service months after the ongoing Hollywood actors’ strike ends, the latest in a series of recent price hikes by the country’s largest streaming platform.
The streaming service is discussing price increases in several markets around the world, likely starting in the U.S. and Canada, according to people familiar with the matter. It was unclear when and by how much Netflix would raise prices, or exactly when the new prices would go into effect. Netflix declined to comment.
Netflix and I have worked well together for about 12 years. Monthly fees were reasonable and not all were gay. Then one day I realized I was paying $16 a month and everything was gay. It’s been a while, Netflix.
Currently, Netflix charges $6.99 per month for ad-supported shows. I don’t understand why anyone would pay to watch a program with ads. Have you ever heard of Pluto, FreeVee, or Tubi? These streamers have more content than you might think is available for free. Yes, there are ads, but free.
There’s also a $15.49 Netflix package that gives you access to everything without ads.
Currently, the premium Netflix package costs $19.99 per month and lets you share your password with several people outside your home.
With Netflix, you now pay $16 a month to endlessly surf the Netflix menu looking for what you want to watch. But after that, every time I saw something of interest, there was either a man in a dress or two men kissing. Enough was enough. I now spend $16 a month stocking up on his Blu-ray copies of the movie. green beret.
To be fair, Netflix is one of the few streamers that is profitable. It helps if you’re a streaming service like Jell-O or Kleenex, where your brand is synonymous with and stands for your product. Yes, I purchased Disney+ Netflix. If you want to stream, start with Netflix and check out the rest.

All I’m saying is this…before you spend a ton of money on a streaming service run by people who hate you, check out free streamers like the ones listed above. There’s so much free streaming TV out there that it’s overwhelming. You can now watch the $175 you paid a month to your cable TV provider for free, except for the latest seasons of new shows.
The only streaming service I pay for is Amazon Prime, but I don’t subscribe to Amazon for their terrible streaming service.I’m subscribing to get free shipping on all these items green beret Blu-ray.
