Investigation into Biden Administration Discussed by House Oversight Chairman

On Tuesday, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) appeared on NewsMax TV’s “Rob Schmitt Tonight,” where he addressed the ongoing investigation into former President Joe Biden’s administration.

Comer focused on issues surrounding Biden’s use of an autopen and the issuance of executive orders and pardons.

During the segment, host Rob Schmitt asked, “You’ve announced plans to bring in senior Biden staff for questioning regarding their involvement in the Autopen scandal. What insights do you hope to gain from them?”

Comer replied, “You know, we asked for information during the Biden administration, but they didn’t cooperate. They basically ignored our requests. Now things have changed for these staff members. We want to find out, akin to what President Trump mentioned in his recent press conference, who was really in charge.”

He added, “I don’t believe Joe Biden was fully aware of what was happening. I’ve been saying this for two years. Some took offense, labeling me a conspiracy theorist or worse. They claimed there was a cover-up at the White House. However, this investigation seems to be gaining traction, even among some left-leaning media outlets.”

Comer further commented, “There are presidents associated with families from other countries that may not have the U.S.’s best interests at heart, and it’s possible those families were influencing the situation. I’m suggesting, perhaps, that they might have been the ones effectively running the country.”
