Bijan Robinson of the Falcons Says 'All Glory to Jesus' After Outstanding Performance

Bijan Robinson Shines in Falcons Victory, Shares Faith

On Monday night, Atlanta’s Bijan Robinson had a standout performance in what has been an impressive season. As the Falcons faced the Buffalo Bills, he rushed 19 times for 170 yards and found the end zone once, while also adding six receptions for 68 yards. The Falcons secured a 24-14 victory, establishing themselves as serious Super Bowl contenders with a record of 3-2.

In an interview with ESPN, Robinson reflected on the game’s significance but quickly redirected the conversation to his faith. “First of all, I just want to give all the glory to God. It’s a blessing to step on the field and give Him so much glory every time,” he shared with a national audience.

This victory marked the second consecutive week the Falcons defeated a team that competed in a conference championship. The previous week, Atlanta triumphed over Washington, allowing them to advance to January’s NFC Championship, while Buffalo appeared in last season’s AFC Championship.

“This was a big game for us,” Robinson stated. “Everyone’s eyes are on us. We had to come out and be physical, and we were fortunate to get the win.”

When asked about his performance, Robinson attributed it to divine support. “It’s just all because of God,” he emphasized.

According to NFL.com, Robinson has now accumulated 484 rushing yards and 338 receiving yards over the first six weeks of the season. He became the first player since Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas in 1991 to surpass 450 rushing yards and 300 receiving yards in the first five games of a season.

After the game, Atlanta’s coach, Raheem Morris, praised Robinson, stating, “He’s the best player in football. I can’t say it enough.” His declaration left little room for doubt about Robinson’s capability.

Robinson’s Instagram bio encapsulates his outlook well: “Trust in the Lord. Make Him famous.”

In a tweet following the game, Robinson expressed, “This doesn’t satisfy us. It doesn’t satisfy us in the slightest.”
