Bill Belichick handed the Falcons their most brutal loss in franchise history.
And now he could be the next one to try to lead them to their first title.
According to DraftKings, the 71-year-old head coach is expected to join the Falcons after Belichick parted ways with the Patriots.

Belichick reportedly still wants to keep him, and there are seven other spots available, in addition to the possibility of him being fired suddenly after his playoff team is eliminated.
The Falcons are looking for a new coach after firing Arthur Smith, and reports say Belichick is involved with the seemingly snakebitten NFC South franchise.
It would be an ironic turn of events if Belichick heads to the NFC South to enjoy the final years of his career, much like former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady did.
The Falcons have skyrocketed to +500 odds since Tuesday's opener, making them the third-best odds behind the favorites Chargers and incumbent Patriots.
Immediately after news of Belichick's firing came out, they rose to +400, but still trailed behind the Chargers and the then-leading option for Belichick not to coach an NFL team next season.
Since then, the market has revised to give the Falcons the best odds, slightly ahead of the uncoached Belichick, followed by the Chargers and Commanders.
Atlanta has a strong offensive core and solid defense featuring Bijan Robinson, Drake Rondon, and Kyle Pitts, but lacks a franchise quarterback.
However, the NFC South is very winnable.
The Chargers are offering Belichick a franchise quarterback, but having to navigate Patrick Mahomes for the final few years of his career may not be appealing to Belichick.
The Commanders give Belichick the chance to pick his own franchise quarterback, but their roster lacks talent and the NFC East is tough.

The only other team with odds less than 10/1 is the Titans, and the Jets and Giants are both on the list despite currently having no openings.
