Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law Jennifer uncomfortably steers clear of Jordon Hudson at the UNC game

There seems to be some ongoing tension between Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law, Jennifer Schmidt, and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.

At Saturday’s North Carolina Tar Heels game in Chapel Hill, the two appeared to keep their distance, and there were no interactions captured between them.

Hudson had on a white tank top, a blue reptilian miniskirt, and white knee-high boots, while maintaining a serious demeanor as she crossed her arms in the suite. Schmidt, on the other hand, opted for a white long-sleeved crop top, blue high-waisted shorts, and, interestingly enough, the same white knee-high boots. She was seen enthusiastically cheering for her team while holding a drink.

The Tar Heels ended up beating the Stanford Cardinals 20-15.

This seemingly icy relationship likely stems from a past incident where Schmidt criticized Hudson for interrupting Belichick during a now-famous April appearance on “CBS Sunday Morning.” During that interview, Belichick had been asked about how he met his much younger girlfriend.

Subsequently, former Patriots players Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski commented on the situation in a podcast, suggesting that Hudson, who had reportedly worked with Belichick as a publicist, had acted inappropriately.

Comedian Nikki Glaser chimed in, expressing agreement with the athletes, saying, “Publicists act in a professional manner and do not ‘storm’ on set to delay interviews.”

Schmidt, who is married to Belichick’s son Stephen, directly criticized Hudson’s actions, emphasizing the need for professionalism in such situations.

Belichick, however, defended Hudson, claiming that the portrayal of her attempting to control the interview was misleading.

Following the interview incident, Hudson had a light-hearted moment by dressing up in the same costume she wore during the infamous CBS interview, complete with the gray college-style sweatshirt and red lipstick. She even posted a selfie that showcased her look from that day.

Throughout this season, Hudson has consistently been present at North Carolina games, supporting Belichick as he takes on his new role as head coach.
