A few months before the public learned about Bill Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson, who is 24 years old, Hudson was reportedly spending time close to the Patriots’ headquarters during the summer of 2024.
A recent report from The New York Times suggests that Hudson attended training camp practices as Belichick’s coaching role was winding down in New England. The 73-year-old coach was apparently quite taken with her choice of bright clothing.
According to the report, she wore red pants at Belichick’s suggestion so he could spot her more easily among the crowd.
As the football season kicked off that fall, Hudson was frequently seen with Belichick at the team hotel.
The Patriots moved on from Belichick in January 2024, concluding his 24-year tenure with the team.
Belichick’s departure sparked some debates about the role of sports media, especially after he was succeeded by Raheem Morris as coach of the Falcons.
By June 2024, news of Belichick’s relationship with Hudson came to light, revealing they had met on a flight to West Palm Beach in 2021.
Since their romance became public, discussions have arisen regarding Hudson’s influence on Belichick’s professional challenges as he navigates his new coaching role at UNC.
In a May 2025 interview with ESPN, Belichick reassured that Hudson was not involved in the football operations at UNC, emphasizing that their relationship is personal.
Despite ongoing speculation about Hudson’s connection to UNC, it seems their relationship is progressing. The Times reported that Hudson has mentioned being “engaged” to Belichick to at least one individual.
Belichick had previously been in a long-term relationship with Linda Holiday, which started in 2007 and ended in 2023.
Since the split, Holiday has remained active in Nantucket’s social circles, while reports indicate Hudson is trying to engage more in charitable activities. A source noted that her reception in Nantucket has not been warm, with many showing disinterest towards her presence.
“People in Nantucket are pretty discerning. If Hudson walks into a place like Galley Beach, most people just roll their eyes. It’s not a welcoming environment for her,” the source shared.
