Clinton added that the actual trip on Epstein's jet took place several years before Epstein was first charged with sex crimes in Florida. After he learned of the criminal incident, he stopped contacting her.
Epstein received a slap on the wrist in 2008, but was facing more serious federal sex trafficking charges when he died in prison in 2019.
