House Oversight Committee Releases Epstein Documents
The House Oversight Committee unveiled a new set of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein late Monday. This batch includes a message from former President Bill Clinton found in Epstein’s notorious “Birthday Book.”
This unexpected release came just hours after Epstein’s estate complied with a congressional subpoena, providing materials to House investigators.
Among the documents is a book that seems to have been edited by Ghislaine Maxwell, a known associate of Epstein’s.
One entry reportedly from Clinton mentions Epstein’s “childlike curiosity, willingness to make a difference, and [illegible] My friend’s.”
House Moves Forward with Epstein Files
In addition to the Clinton entry, the released materials also seem to feature entries from former Epstein attorneys and even Donald Trump. However, both the White House and Trump have repeatedly refuted the claims.
Caroline Leavitt, press chief at the White House, emphasized on X that “it’s clear that President Trump hasn’t painted this picture, as I’ve been saying, and he didn’t sign it.” She added that Trump’s legal team will continue to pursue lawsuits related to these allegations.
Fox News Digital has sought comments from Clinton’s representatives.
The documents from the committee also include Epstein’s final will, what seems to be a contact address book, and specifics regarding a non-prosecution agreement with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in South Florida from 2007-2008.
Chairman James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, criticized Democrats for only sharing a portion of the files related to Trump, asserting that the president was uninvolved in any wrongdoing.
Oversight Committee Releases Extensive Epstein Documents
Comer expressed that “the gruesome Democrats on the Observatory Committee are collecting documents received from today’s Epstein Real Estate and politicized documents.” He remarked that the committee aims to ensure transparency and justice concerning Epstein’s crimes against survivors.
Comer also stated, “President Trump has not been accused of fraud, and Democrats are neglecting new evidence received today.” The committee plans to pursue additional Epstein bank records based on the latest information. He urged Democrats to prioritize survivors over political gains.
The release will be discussed in an upcoming session featuring former Attorney General Loretta Lynch from the Obama administration.
