Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates made a cameo appearance at Mark Zuckerberg’s recent birthday party in honor of the Meta Platforms CEO turning 40.

Zuckerberg celebrated his 40th birthday on Tuesday. It was not immediately clear whether the party took place on his actual birthday.

“Mark doesn’t usually let me have big birthday celebrations, but on his 40th birthday, as long as his friends and family celebrate him too,” Chan wrote in another Instagram post. Gates and others wished Zuckerberg a happy birthday on Instagram, one of the few social media platforms under the Meta umbrella.
According to reports, the two recently met in India. In an Instagram post in early March, Gates praised Zuckerberg for being “very good at dressing for the occasion” and posted a photo of the two of them attending an event.
