Microsoft founder Bill Gates has reportedly secretly donated about $50 million to groups supporting Kamala Harris, but has not publicly supported the vice president.
According to , the billionaire's large donation was made to Future Forward USA Action. new york timesreports that Gates' contributions were not intended to be made public.
“I support candidates who demonstrate a clear commitment to improving health care, reducing poverty, and combating climate change in the United States and around the world,” Gates told the outlet, referring specifically to the donation. I refused.

Gates has reportedly openly discussed his large donations with friends, including former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg.
Mr. Bloomberg, 82, reportedly donated nearly $20 million to Future Forward earlier this year, when President Biden was still on the campaign trail.
Future Forward does not disclose its donors.
Gates, who has an estimated net worth of $162 billion, is one of 81 billionaires funding Harris' White House operations. According to Forbes.
