Talk show host Bill Maher called on the federal government to cut “Crazy Far Left” subsidies, particularly NPR CEO Katherine Maher.

“I also read the name of Catherine Maher, the head of NPR, and she said, “We are completely unbiased.” Give me a break, lead,” Maher said in HBO's “real-time” Friday segment.
“I mean, they're crazy to the far left, so I think we're my opinion in the past. We're really past our age.
“These outlets became popular when Republicans and Democrats didn't hate each other and didn't think they were an existential threat because they didn't hate each other and were not in their throats. In that world, you can't take a place like this anymore. They have to be private.”
Maher's comments correspond to recent testimonies from Katherine Maher and PBS CEO Paula Kerger, who were questioned in a newly formed delivery on the Government Efficiency (DOGE) Subcommittee.
During the hearing, NPR The CEO said the station plays an important role in “providing impartial, nonpartisan fact-based reporting” to Americans.
Throughout the conference, Republican lawmakers burned Katherine Maher NPR It underreports outlet reports on Hunter Biden laptop scandal, the origins of Covid-19, and Trump's ties with Russia.
“You guys were 0-3 in the three biggest stories in the country,” President Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said.

After the hearing, President Donald Trump denounced the two stations and declared that it should be repaid “quickly.”
“NPR and PBS, two horribly, completely biased platforms (network!) should be repaid by Congress any time soon,” Trump wrote in the Social Post of Truth.
“Republicans, don't miss this opportunity to remove this enormous scam from our country. Both are radical left Democrats' arms.
