“Real Time” host Bill Maher has continued to issue stern warnings to Democrats on immigration, claiming the party will be “shithole” in November following the results of this week’s European elections.

European voters, especially in Germany and France, roundly rejected far-left policies in European Parliament elections where immigration became a top issue amid the recent crisis.

“Voters in the European Parliament have once again said that so much immigration is not good,” Maher said.

The HBO star then quoted The Atlantic’s David Frum’s warning that “if liberals insist that border policing is a job only fascists do, voters will get fascists to do what liberals won’t do.”

“Voters have said time and time again that they’re not comfortable with this level of immigration, and I understand why. Saying that doesn’t make them racist,” Maher said.

He later criticized California Democratic Senator Alex Padilla, who said of President Biden’s border executive order, “Biden has undermined American values by reinstating President Trump’s refugee ban.”

“And they all step back and say, ‘We don’t want to be called racist, so we’re not going to get into immigration’. They’re going to be done on election day. It’s happening. It’s happening in Europe now. That’s the evidence in Europe and it’s going to happen in America. It happened with Brexit and it’s going to happen again,” Marr argued.

One guest, author Joel Stein, countered that there are “real moral reasons” to allow immigrants into the United States.

“How many?” Maher asked.

“No, no,” Stein replied.

“But that’s their argument,” exclaimed Mr. Maher.

Maher also cited polls showing that 64% of Latinos support giving the president the power to close the border and 62% of registered voters support deporting all illegal immigrants in the United States.

“Yes, people hate immigrants,” Stein responded.

“They don’t hate immigrants!” Maher countered.

Last week, Maher slammed President Biden’s border control orders, calling them a pre-election “Hail Mary” tactic that will be ineffective.

“If Biden loses this election, it’s going to be for two reasons: he’s old and he’s on immigration,” Maher said. “So, on a political level, I can’t imagine they could have handled it any worse.”

Maher later said, “The question Democrats don’t seem to have the courage to answer is how many is too many? And infinity is the answer. Anyone who doesn’t give that answer is a racist. That’s their essential problem on this issue.”
