Bill O’Reilly and Adam Carolla Critique Kamala Harris

On a recent episode of “The Adam Carolla Show,” former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly and comedian Adam Carolla took aim at the intelligence of former Vice President Kamala Harris. O’Reilly suggested that both former President Joe Biden and California Governor Gavin Newsom tend to shift their political stances frequently to enhance their appeal. Carolla posed a question: “Is it fair to say that Kamala Harris is trying to do the same thing, but hasn’t succeeded?”

“She’s not smart enough,” O’Reilly responded, with Carolla agreeing. The comedian noted, “She’s not smart enough, but she’s against fracking one day only to support it the next. She used to be for changing the gender of undocumented immigrants in prison, and now she’s against that. It takes a skilled hand to navigate such flip-flopping, and she just doesn’t have that skill.”

Although Harris altered her far-left stance during the 2024 presidential campaign, she ultimately lost in all seven battleground states, as well as the popular vote to Donald Trump. O’Reilly contended that her failures in this regard stemmed from a lack of intelligence rather than a lack of talent.

“It’s not a skill issue—she simply isn’t smart enough. Once you’re in a certain position, you’re always being watched,” he explained. “You need to be aware of your surroundings, and that goes for Newsom as well.”

O’Reilly pointed out that Biden tasked Harris with addressing the immigration crisis in 2021, leading to her being called the “Border Emperor.” He recounted her mission to “get to the root cause” behind the surge of people wanting to enter the U.S., stating, “The bottom line is they want to make money. There’s no other reason. They don’t care about scenic views or food options; they want jobs. She didn’t manage the border situation at all, and Biden was okay passing that responsibility to her since he himself wasn’t doing anything.”

“She didn’t stop a single person. Really, they could’ve appointed a 5-year-old as the border czar, and that child would have done a better job than Kamala Harris,” O’Reilly remarked.

In the Biden-Harris administration, reports indicate that after quickly rolling back Trump’s stricter immigration policies, they witnessed a historic surge in net immigration. Previous warnings from advisers regarding potential border crises were largely ignored as crossings reached unprecedented levels.

Moreover, Carolla mocked Harris’s performance during a June 2021 interview with NBC’s Lester Holt. “She said she’d been to the border. ‘We’ve been to the border,’ she claimed, then bafflingly added, ‘I’ve never been to Europe either.’ I mean, what does that even mean? You’re in charge of the border, and you’re confused about that? She’s not sharp. I agree,” Carolla said.

During the interview, when Harris claimed she had visited the border, Holt corrected her. “You’ve never been to the border,” he pointed out. To which Harris replied, “And I’ve never been to Europe. I don’t understand what you’re saying.”
