Bill O’Reilly Updates on Health Status

Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly shared an update on his website on Friday, stating that he is “okay and recovering from a stomach upset” after initially revealing earlier in the week that he was dealing with an unspecified illness.

Because of his illness, O’Reilly had to miss a scheduled appearance on NewsNation’s “CUOMO” and has not been airing his “No Spin News” show. In his Friday update, he expressed appreciation for the support he received while at a medical facility in New York City and mentioned he is working on his next broadcast.

O’Reilly mentioned, “Words cannot express how grateful I am for the incredible goodwill that has been received here in New York City. I am making plans to escape from a medical facility with several concierge members. That’s a big deal.” He humorously added that if USA Today found him, he would be “toast,” noting there’s not much to do except watch local news about snow and global warming, so he is eager to get back to work on his first broadcast.

He also indicated that he would share more updates on Sunday.

O’Reilly hosts “No Spin News” during the week and regularly appears on NewsNation. He became widely recognized as the host of FOX News’ “The O’Reilly Factor.” Back in April 2017, he was terminated from Fox News amid allegations of sexual harassment, which he insisted were unfounded.

He had remarked, “It is extremely unfortunate that we have to part ways because of completely unsubstantiated claims,” acknowledging that such challenges are often part of public life.

Now at 76 years old, O’Reilly has a long-standing relationship with former President Donald Trump, and they were seen together at a New York Yankees game on September 11, 2025.
