Biden’s dismal debate performance has sparked speculation about whether he will continue campaigning in 2024.
Bill O’Reilly has his own theory.
“The people in charge of this are Barack Obama and Ron Klain,” O’Reilly said. Glenn BeckHe noted that they told Biden: “You can’t beat us. You can’t beat Trump. He’s the devil, he’s evil, so if you don’t get out of here, you’re aiding evil.”
Meanwhile, he believes the First Lady is opposed to their proposal.
“It’s his wife on the phone,” O’Reilly said, “and she’s saying, ‘There’s no way we’re breaking up, I’m going to fight to the end.'”
“Now the battle is between the party elders and Jill Biden,” he added.
But he believes Jill Biden will lose this fight.
“All Biden has to do is say, ‘I’m retiring for health reasons’ and ‘I’ll give my delegates to whoever the party wants,’ and then he’ll be totally powerless and the party will tell him to give them to Kamala or Newsom or Whitmer or whoever,” O’Reilly explains.
Not only does O’Reilly believe Biden’s apparent mental decline is reason enough to oust him, but Biden has never enjoyed the same level of support as Trump.
“Biden’s support was weak to begin with. He doesn’t have a core following. It’s all Trump haters,” he said. “So if you believe the CBS poll, not many Democrats care if Biden is the nominee. They don’t identify with Biden. They just want to see Trump lose.”
Glenn’s biggest concern is who will replace him as president.
“Who do you think is likely to replace him?” he asked O’Reilly.
“I’ll tell you who wants it,” he says. “Kamala wants it. Kamala is not going to go away quietly into the night. She’s going to play the race card.”
O’Reilly also sees Newsom and Whitmer as strong contenders.
“What about Big Mike?” Glenn asks, referring to Michelle Obama.
“Obviously that would be a lifesaver, right? But there’s no indication that she wants to do that,” O’Reilly says.
