A model from Penthouse, engaged to billionaire supporter Stephen Krubeck of Eric Swalwell, was once married to a porn star whose reckless driving led to a fatal accident. This tragic incident involved the model’s ex-wife and a motorcycle rider, Manuchel Namdar.
The lawsuit against Adva Lavie and Edan Ives, known as “Big Nick” in adult entertainment, claims they were driving a 2017 Honda Civic when they made an unsafe right turn, colliding with Namdar’s motorcycle. This incident happened in October 2022 at an intersection in Encino, California, resulting in serious injuries for Namdar, who ultimately died.
Ives, who was arrested in June 2023, faced charges of vehicular manslaughter and received a 20-day jail sentence, along with one year of probation.
The death of Namdar profoundly affected his son, Sam, who filed the lawsuit citing that the loss brought on depression and emotional distress, among other issues. Initially, he sought a jury trial and compensation. However, the case was eventually dismissed after a settlement was reached in April 2024.
Lavie, who also goes by Mia Ventura, once promoted Ives on social media, enticing fans to support him on his OnlyFans page. It’s unclear when Lavie and Ives officially married, but a joint divorce petition was filed in Nevada on March 3, shortly after Krubeck’s extravagant proposal to her during a charity event in Las Vegas on Valentine’s Day.
Krubeck, a timeshare mogul, has reportedly spent over $1 million on Swalwell’s gubernatorial campaign and received a lavish trip to France, totaling $31,000.
The couple seems to have invested in renovating their grand $26 million estate in Klubeck, featuring six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a tennis court.
In a recent social media statement, Swalwell denied allegations of rape and sexual assault linked to a different case, filmed at Krubeck’s mansion. Meanwhile, prosecutors allege that LaVey exploited dating apps to engage with wealthy individuals throughout Los Angeles, involving herself in patterns of grand larceny and fraudulent activities.
Facing six felony charges, including grand larceny, LaVey has pleaded not guilty to all accusations.
